Christmas Cookie Decorating Party Plan: Host an Event That’s Fun for Your Guests AND You

40+ page PDF · Ages 4 through adult · Instant download

You want a Christmas cookie party where kids actually decorate cookies, not just eat frosting off their fingers. But the prep and the potential chaos sound like a lot.

This plan does the prep work for you. Instead of scrambling at the last minute, you’ll have a clear, step-by-step guide to a cookie decorating celebration everyone will look forward to year after year. It’s based on a real party I’ve hosted annually, with photos from real cookie decorating parties for inspiration.

Save $10 when you bundle it with the matching Christmas Cookie Decorating Party Printables.

What’s Inside

Prep timeline: a day-by-day schedule and checklists so you’re not scrambling last-minute
Decorating table: setup with station organization, plus a cookie decorating supply checklist (icing, sprinkles, tools)
Recipes: links to no-spread cookie dough recipes and the perfect icing
Hot cocoa bar: a creation guide
Dessert table: simple styling ideas, with budget-friendly options that still look beautiful
Party favor: one nice favor idea instead of a bag of trinkets
Shopping links: shopping lists organized by category
Planning tools: a pre-party cleaning and decluttering guide, plus the checklists above

Why It Works

I’ve hosted this party annually with my twin daughters since they were in elementary school, and I’ve perfected the formula: which icing consistency actually works, which cookies won’t spread, how much icing per kid, how to set up stations so kids don’t fight over sprinkles, and how to prep so you’re not baking cookies at midnight.

Perfect For

Ages 4 through adult (yes, really, teenagers and adults love this too)
December birthday parties, classroom celebrations, or holiday gatherings
Parents who want to create an annual tradition kids remember forever

FAQs

What is The Party Teacher?

My sweet spot is breaking down how to create a custom party from scratch.

I’m a self-taught party planner, and if I can teach myself and squeeze parties into my schedule — and start a business all about parties — I know I can help you, too.

The Party Teacher is full of digital resources to help you plan your party, from the step-by-step Party Course to Themed Party Plans, printables, and planning worksheets.

What is your shipping policy?

My buntings ship free with U.S. priority mail. Cake toppers are $4 for shipping. And digital products like the Party Course, party plans, and guides are delivered instantly.

Is it too late to plan my party?

Four weeks is a great timeframe to plan your party, so you can do a little every day and not feel rushed.

If you have less than four weeks, no sweat! I have so many resources to help you get your party planned fast, like my Quick Start Guide and Themed Party Plans.

Let's get your party planned!

Make your party something your child will always remember because YOU made the party.

If you’re a busy mom who knows WHAT you want but not HOW to get there, I can give you a road map.

Let’s lessen your workload and double your fun. Because birthday parties should be more than just amazing decorations and dessert tables. They should be — you know — about your child. They should be fun.

My parties have been featured in magazines and leading party sites, including Huffington Post, Women’s Day, ProFlowers, Shutterfly, Evite, Hostess With The Mostess, Kara’s Party Ideas and more! And I can help you make your once-in-a-lifetime event too!
